I am Rifat Islam Rupok and I am the Managing Partner at Beyond Peace. I have completed my Graduation and Post-Graduation in Peace and Conflict Studies from the University of Dhaka. I have worked with several research organizations in different research roles. Apart from managing Beyond Peace, I am also working as a Project Officer for Community Development Federation (CDF), Dinajpur, Bangladesh. I’m the Senior Partner and Editor-in-Chief of Beyond Peace. I completed my BSS and MSS from the University of Dhaka majoring in Peace and Conflict Studies and I’ve been accepted for pursuing my higher studies in the same discourse. As for my work experience, I’ve worked with various national and international organizations as part of different research projects. I’m also currently working remotely for ‘Conflict and Resilience Research Institute Canada’ as a Research fellow. My past research works and publications mainly focused on violent extremism, community build-up, cultural diversity, peace spoilers, hate speech, transgender people, and structural violence they face. I want to pursue a career in the field of peacebuilding. If I had to choose my future prospects, I’d choose academia and research. I have completed my BSS and MSS from the University Of Dhaka Majoring in Peace and Conflict Studies. As for my work experience, I worked with Bangladesh Enterprise Institute(BEI), in a project named “Youth in Peacebuilding”. My educational background allows me to have a vast Knowledge of Conflict Analysis, Peacebuilding, and contemporary social issues. As a prospect, I would like to engage in developing a career that focuses on academia, research, monitoring, and implementing different developing programs. I have completed my Bachelors and Master’s Degree from the University of Dhaka, majoring in Peace and Conflict Studies. My academic background supports me to have a wide range of ideas on different development agendas. I have worked on several academic research papers that allowed me to practice skills related to social sciences researches. I Majored in Peace and Conflict Studies, and that has helped me see news bits and information in different lights. I have completed my Bachelor of Social Sciences (BSS) from the Department of Peace and Conflict Studies, University of Dhaka. I am currently enrolled in the MSS program in the same department. I keep a keen interest in research that primarily concentrates on the issues of human rights and conflict analysis. Quantitative data and statistical data analysis, content writing, and critical thinking are my areas of expertise. I’ve recently completed my Master’s degree from the Department of Peace and Conflict Studies at Dhaka University. I am the public relations officer of Beyond Peace. I am studying Journalism and Mass Communication at Daffodil International University. I’m the legal advisor of Beyond Peace. I majored in Bachelor of Laws and currently pursuing LLM at the University of Dhaka. Right now, I’m a diligent advisor offering skills in innovative problem solving and finding unique theories and ideas, and solutions to create effectual agreements and problems. Apart from studying and being a legal advisor, I work for different local charity organizations and help them organize and collect funds voluntarily.
